WHAT’S THE ACADEMY FOR SOCIAL CHANGE?
The Academy is the Ideas Factory initiative to a better world.We’ve started the Academy realizing the we live in a society subject more than ever to a constant change, while meanwhile many people are not prepared for it.
We’ve noted that agents wishing to induce a change to a better world are unfamiliar with basic concepts of effectiveness and impact on the environment. Moreover, we believe in the utmost importance of the joint development of personal potential, leadership skills and acquaintance with the latest concepts of social change for the society today.
The alumni of the Academy, upon completing the 4 modules, will have access to a plethora of techniques, concepts, lecturers, contacts and other resources, which will catalyze the realization of the innovative and well-thought brave ideas. These are the initiatives that can provide systematic solutions to different social conflicts.
The Academy creates a community of individuals eager to take on responsibility and adventures towards a local and global change to a better world. These are people who see opportunity and stimulus for creative and innovative solutions in what others would call “a problem” and who are actively collaborating and interacting with each other towards the realizations of their ideas.
